You can skip downloading speech files you don’t need. Here is the list of optional files:

For example, if you want to launch the game with German UI/Subtitles/Voiceovers – skip all “selective” files, but download fg-selective-german.bin & all main files (01-04).

Unfortunately, the game doesn’t allow you to play in one GUI language combined with another speech pack (it works in Czech and Italian only, by design).
